2025 Kentucky Derby Party

Join us for our annual Kentucky Derby Party, our most anticipated event of the year!

We'll be running pre-race coverage all day long on strategically placed TVs so everyone can see the action. Post time is 3:57, and the build up to it is almost as exciting as the race itself.

Seating is all covered and on the patio--no lawn seating. Seating will be assigned first-come, first served.

We'll offer a delicious array of Derby Day cocktails for purchase including our incredibly popular Mint Julep.

Rachel and Michael of Ray2Z Cooking will provide food for purchase at the party. You can beat the food line by preordering at this link: All Products | Ray2zcooking. Food and snacks will be on hand for race day purchases for those who do not order ahead. As with all our events, we ask that you do not bring your own food and instead support our local chef. Rachel's food is delicious and absolutely top quality.

Kentucky Derby Winning stallion Giacomo will join us for a meet and greet around 2pm. Hopefully he is in a calm mood again this year and will allow people to stand next to him for a photo!

And then there's the hat contest! All you have to do to enter is show up in a fabulous Derby hat and be ready around 3 pm for the judging. The top two winners will receive a special prize. This year, our dear friend Lisette, the woman who seems to win the hat contest every year, has been promoted to judge, so others have a chance at earning top honors. 😅

Come dressed in your Derby Day finest and enjoy a great party. Party pro tip: bring comfy shoes to get from your car to the party, then change into your fancy heels. You might be leaping over a mud puddle or two.

Note: Parking is always a challenge on Saturdays at the farm. Please carpool! There will be a $5 per car parking fee collected at the gate. Cash only please! Be prepared with your five dollar bill.

Remember, horses and horse trailers have the right of way. Drive slowly and thank you for your patience.
